Smoking might be banned on a single of Pembrokeshire's beaches after councillors chosen to carry a proper consultation in to the idea.
Pembrokeshire will be the first council in Wales introducing a smoke-free beach.
An appointment will take place to determine which beach ought to be employed for an airplane pilot plan.
Councillors also chosen to help make the area's play grounds and sporting areas smoke-free, including e-cigarettes.
All 100 parks, sports grounds and playing fields possessed or handled by Pembrokeshire council or community local authorities may have signs erected asking people to not smoke.
The primary goal is to discourage youthful individuals from smoking, and also to promote health insurance and well-being.
